Laura Ross-Paul
May 4th - 27th. 2006

Pacini Lubel Gallery will exhibit the paintings of Northwest artist Laura Ross-Paul from May 4th, through May 27th. Laura Ross Paul creates her work by pouring a resin/wax mix over the painted surfaces which causes random runs, blendings and other accidental alterations of the images. Laura Ross Paul emphasizes natural order through her coalescence of representational and metaphysical style of painting. In Laura.s paintings, relationships are anchored in natural elements, central figures remain enigmatic through sweeping gestures and fauvist color patterns have emboldened her paintings.

Laura Ross Paul will be in attendance for First Thursday, opening night on May 4th, 2006. Please join us from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The jewelry/metalsmith portion of the gallery will highlight the work of Barbara Cohen, Dahlia Kanner, KeKe Cribbs, Kiwon Wang and Sarah Graham.
