Pacini Lubel will present the work of Ronna Neuenschwander and Baba Wague Diakite in the East Gallery. Ronna will exhibit a series of ceramic sculpture that enliven the cultural divide between her native America and the birthplace, Mali, of her husband, Baba Wague Diakite. Baba Wague Diakite will create a series of wall mounted ceramic plates that tell fables, tales and/ or stories that harken to his native Mali.

Leah Kosh, after a long tenure with the Lisa Harris Gallery has joined Pacini Lubel and will have her newest series of paintings exhibited in the West gallery. Leah is well known for her paintings that create mood and thought - evoking an emotional relationship between the viewer and the painting.
Both exhibits will run from June 2, 2005 through July 2, 2005.

In addition to these exhibits the Pacini Lubel Gallery is proud to announce the opening of the art jewelry/metalsmith aspect of the gallery. The exhibit will coincide with the Tacoma Art Museumâs art jewelry/metalsmith exhibit titled Zero karat: Jewelry in Non-Precious Materials from the Museum of Arts & Design. The opening exhibition will include artists Kiff Slemmons, Robin Kranitzky and Kim Overstreet, Sondra Sherman, Jamie Bennett, Keith Lewis, Maria Phillips, Lisa Gralnick and Bruce Metcalf.
